Infant Baptism: Parents must be registered and active members of this parish or another parish with family here in the parish (i.e. parents). A letter of permission from Pastor is required if parents are from outside of the parish. Godparents (one male and one female) must be registered and active members of their parish. Contact the parish office before the infant’s due date to arrange for preparation with Fr. Severson.
First Reconciliation/First Holy Eucharist: Please contact the office to arrange for necessary preparation.
Holy Matrimony: A couple discerning marriage should contact the parish office immediately after becoming engaged. The diocese requires a minimum of six months' notice regarding the intention to marry. Couples wishing to marry in the parish must be registered and active members of the parish, or individuals who have moved away whose parents are still active in the parish. Couples from other parishes must obtain a letter of permission to marry outside of their own parish. Please do not set a date for the wedding without expressly confirming the date with Fr. Severson. Setting a date before speaking with Fr. Severson may result in the unavailability to the Pastor to celebrate the sacrament, which could lead to denial of marriage preparation.
Anointing of the Sick: Individuals who have been diagnosed as terminally or gravely ill or are preparing for invasive surgery should request this sacrament. Confession ordinarily proceeds receiving the sacrament of the sick. Call the church office at 406.626.4492 or, for emergencies, 406.202.8912.
Adult Confirmation, Adult Baptism (OCIA), and Adult Reception into Full Communion with the Church: If you, a family member, or a friend has not received the sacrament of Confirmation, or are interested in being baptized into the Faith, or received into full communion with the Church, please contact the office. The process will be discerned on an individual basis based on preparedness.
